My my Scott, some of this reads so much like some of my stuff. Even the idea of trading to build stuff (though that was partly Ocia's idea). The one difference was you didn't want to quantify it ....

Haha, I saw the title of this thread and came here to post "Hey, what a coincidence, I wrote something called that once."
I still agree with about 66% of what's in that document. But I think things have seriously progressed since then. Both war-based and vote-based economies were invented after that period, and are much better than anything it has to offer.
