Reading the Law

Post by Kaiser Loki III »

Can somebody find the law or decree that keeps the Barons out of the Landsraad?

Thanks

Yep, most stuff having to do with the Landsraad are in the Procedures.

Another provision, this time from the LawBook:
LB III,B,c wrote:All Dukes are members of the Landsraad, with the privileges and duties enumerated in the Procedures of the Landsraad.
There is no corresponding provision for Barons.

There is a clause stating that Barons are nobles, and another one stating that the Landsraad is made up of the "Nobles of Shireroth". Thus my question, now duly answered.

thank you.

They ARE nobles. and ARE members of the Landsraad. But are not Voting or Speaking Members. Thus if there was to be made a Council of Barons, The Kehl, it would be a part of the Landsraad, but would not be part of the part that the Dukes make up, and not part of the part that votes.

I've tried. They didn't want it.

True. I think I opposed it once...

I've got to start a list of "good things to introduce when no one is looking".
