You've only addressed half the problem. We're willing to spend, but there still isn't that much to buy. I can do images myself, and maybe they aren't as good as Scott's, but mine work fair enough...

Indeed, like Bayen said, there is notting to spend your money on. I'm working for VCorp and make my pictures myself. I don't need Scott to do this.
I can sell demos of the Kildare game but it isn't finished yet.
Maybe some people need to start a newspaper that isn't free and you need to buy it.

I tried to buy an image a while back... one that said "Judicial Smack Down" But I don't think I got any bids on it..
Also, once we had a gift economy, people just gave money to each other for doing good work for their own reasons. We should start gifting money to people as we did them, in addition to buying things. Encourage are fellow citizens. Maybe you'll get a reputation for generosity, and people will give you money for that...
