Well, here we are again.

As far as I can ascertain, the current population is:

- Myself
- Iain
- Harald

So let's try and get cracking on with something. I'll spend the next couple of days reviewing whatever laws and decrees Ardashir brought in. I don't imagine I'll be rescinding any, Ardy seems to have calmed down a good bit in the intervening three years

What'll I do as Duke? Well, I'll pay attention to the Landsraad and vote when I can. I'll try and get my head around this economy lark but I make no promises. If it hurts Elwynn at all I'll try and cultivate a full understanding though. I have to say that mostly my activities here will be devoted to cultural pursuits. If we need a law, there will be a law, not law for law's sake.

I'm Duke because Ardashir has emmigrated...and therefore presumably given up his Dukedom in Elwynn unless he's attempting to pull a Bill. So the gracious Kaiser in decree number three hundred and six has appointed myself.

As I said Krasniy, I'll be reviewing all decrees, commands, laws and by-laws installed by Ardashir. Hopefully I won't be rescinding any, but I certainly won't be given any further orders for hositilities between Rothian Duchies...unless they're deserved of course. You're not some kind of imperialist aggressor are you Krasniy

Hmmm, it seems that looking at a previous Duchal Decree the line of succession has been somewhat skipped over. But I suppose Kaiserial Decrees supercede such things. Hopefully no-one feels like making a ruckus.

It is to my regret that I see I was not in time to pay my respects to the Khan of Vijayanagra...I'm sure there's a story in there somewhere. Having reviewed the Decrees of my immediate predecessor I see nothing that needs repealing. Still not sure where this confrontation with Ynnraile comes from, if someone would care to point me in the right direction that would be great.
