Okey.. guess I'm not as tired, depressed and busy as I thought I was...

So I'm implementing transaction logging. I just finished the logger itself, just need to edit the database to allow for it. and make a viewer...

And as expected... right as I tell you this.. I lose energy and desire to go to bed... oh well.

Okey.. guess my mood improved... the database is set up... I just wish I still had a local test server.

And I just got an idea on how to link companies to people in the system, by keeping a list of companies and their owners.. and maybe.. total stock the company has created/distributed. Then create a means for people to buy and sell stock, and they set the prices. No automated systems to set price.. people would actually have to negotiate the price... This needs another thread...

It's all still on my computer. I don't wanna risk putting it on the server till I know I won't kill the bank in the process. and it's not done. most of the coding is invisible at the moment.

Alright, Before you upload it, let me know and I'll take a screenshot of the Bank so that if it does crash, we've got a record of who has what.

There's always PhpMyAdmin's backup tool... and once you get around to enabling SSH access on the account I'll be able to autobackup the wiki and bank, too

Pick the "Secure shell" option in the control panel. They want a copy of some kind of photo ID which you can send as a file attachment or fax in. I still don't know *why* they want it... I guess they think it's a dangerous terrist tool or something.

Okey.. my knowledge of PHP/MySQL is hitting a problem...

I need to generate a unique and sequential log id number every time I add a log. I've looked into auto-increment, but I think if I had two people adding logs at the same time I might end up with 2 id's that are the same.

No, you won't. Trust me. MySQL mightn't be very ACID, but its authors would all have been lynched long ago if auto_increment wasn't atomic.

I have an idea for the bank, maybe it's said before.
Can we seperate company and personal accounts? If you register you need to have the chose between 'personal' and 'company'.
On the Transfer fund page the company accounts could be in a framework (how do you call it?) on the right, instead in the left framework where now all the accounts are placed.

It's just more neat.

I only support company accounts if they're separate ... otherwise it gets very confusing - we have about a dozen companies, do we need another dozen accounts?

Maybe the normal people should be able to see it too. If a Baron wants to tax his Count.

As it stands, you can make company accounts right now. The limitation is that the government will ONLY interact with a personal account. Meaning you cannot ask for bounties to be deposited into a company account. We're just not going to do it, it's far to complex.
