The Escort Arrives

[Aurangzeb Khan]

My Lord Kaiser!

I am pleased to report that the 4th Kaiser´s Jaeger-Battalion has arrived to escort you to St. Zor Railway Station in anticipation of your departure to Ardashirshahr.

May I also politely remind your Imperial Majesty that we are running about five hours late....

[Jacobus Loki]

"Bring back some of the local libations, if you get a chance!"

[Aurangzeb Khan]

Perhaps while we wait for your entourage to get ready Your Imperial Majesty might care to review the Guardsmen who have been detailed to ensure your personal safety.

[Kaiser Hasan I]

OOC: Lets move this thread to Elywnn as its not really a matter for the court.

The Kaiser had hurriedly dressed and was still hounded by the retinue of aides which seemed to give the impression of an infestation rather than being of any meaningful help. Issues regarding Bosworth remained on the table, it was a direct hit against Hasan's reign and it was developing into a problem without end. The economy had failed recently and Hasan was hoping the Khan could be persuaded to give his support to a revised version of it. The Kaiser peered out the window as he adjusted his suit jacket. A Convoy of twenty brand new trucks looped around the palace approach. Walking to the main lobby, Hasan noted that the entire staff had assembled to see him off. Opening the main double doors, Hasan stepped out onto the marble landing and descended the gradual and shallow steps that jutted out from the colonnade of granite.

"New troops?" Hasan noted.

New troops, uniforms, trucks, rifles. Not one he recognized. This was rather odd considering the level of familiarity the Kaiser had with his newly established professional force.

"These troops looked Babkhan, darker though, perhaps from the Kumara Ostan?" Hasan asked his aide.

"I don't know Majesty, they were provided by the Khan, shall I call his Adjutant?" the aide muttered as he escorted Hasan to the black Bentley Coupe waiting midway through the convoy line.

Hasan nodded as he entered the vehicle seating himself next to the stack of background folders which would require review before arriving. The door was closed and the sound of the convoys engines churned up as if it were one machine in its entirety. Crew guides were seen running the length of the trucks guiding and giving directions as the vehicles began to move one at a time, leaving the palace.
