(Batavian) Cedrism (Evil Plan #201)
There is a growing interest in micronational religions in Batavië. Until now we had the Batavian Church that had the responsibility of leading the coronation of the King. But there was never worked on a religion itself (perhaps because it's more supporting on christianity).
We want to stop macronational religions and want to introduce micronational religions. When we looked Cedrism and/or Soloralism where the favourite candidates.
We would want to bring Cedrism to the Dutch sector (with some changes).
It could bring both nations more together iwe get the approval of the Great Prophet.

From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

What... changes?

The translation... uhm yes that's it...Erik Mortis wrote:What... changes?
Ow no, wait. Also a Dutch representative of the Great Profet. And the creation of some of our own demi-Gods.

Sounds reasonable...

No, it's a way to create a stronger bound between both nations and to bring this religion outside Shireroth.
Maybe I better go to the temple to ask advise...

Well, you'll need to keep things consistent between the nations. And right now, there is little to no mythos for outside of Shireroth.
Re: (Batavian) Cedrism (Evil Plan #201)
I know, but I don't this will be a problem. After we translated the largest part, we will work on some of our own myths (we have some by the way). The representative of the Great Prophet will need to inform the Prophet when we want to create a new myth.Erik Mortis wrote:Well, you'll need to keep things consistent between the nations. Another thing: How will the representative be called (the Little Prophet?)? A normal priest isn't very... impressive...

Emissary of the Gods to the People of Batavia.
The Batavian Prophet of the Gods.
Something like that. While Brrapa is just THE Prophet of the Gods. So the head prophet.
We'll have to organize the priesthood better. Cause you'll be under the same priest structure.
But we can have multiple priests to the same god. It's been done before.
Oh, and translate your myths to English so we can share in them... We should keep the religion unified... (feel free to add to the wiki)
There is room for other nations in the End Times myth. It states that while the main final battle occurs outside Shirekeep. There are other strongholds against the Legions of Balgurd in other lands. Batavia could be one of those strongholds.

The High Priest of Sakat will help you sort out the minor historical changes necessary
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Thank you. Mr Mattiassen (a citizen) will help me to translate. And of course we will translate our own myths so we stay unified. We don't want to create a seperate religion.
Batavia can indeed be one of the strongholds in the final battle.
The Batavian Prophet of the Gods, de Bataafse Profeet der Goden, sounds nice enough.

Yes, it does. I look forward to seekng how Cedrism takes hold in Batavia. I am sure it will do well there.
Re: (Batavian) Cedrism (Evil Plan #201)
Yes, I hope it will have some success. Maybe it can stop the growing influence of macronational religions (but I'm sure it will).

Shireroth has relegated religions of all sorts to their own area. That might be an idea for Batavia as well.

Well, it's a fun religion, and doesn't need to be take to seriously like other religions, so it tends to work well anywhere.

That's why we chosed Cedrism, to have a fun religionErik Mortis wrote:Well, it's a fun religion, and doesn't need to be take to seriously like other religions, so it tends to work well anywhere.

Google translates better, but a human understands nuances.
Just for fun, take a sentence, and bablefish it through a couple of translations, and back to English.......
