Soo.... Kildare is missing.....
as is all of the Brookshire forums, and I think some other forums.
Something is massively messed up with the forums down there and I seem to be making it worse.... Ummm.. someone get Ari?
To be clear, they still exist, and looks right in the admin panels.. they are just.. missing.. and mixed up. All my attempts to right the problem which started in brookshire have made it spread....

Hold still, I'll take a backup and see what I can do.

Right. I downloaded the phpBB Support Tool Kit and used its "fix left/right IDs" function, which it seems made forums display consistently in normal forum lists and in the admin panel. The breadcrumb paths were still broken, but it turns out that phpBB will regenerate those automatically, so I just nulled the forum_parents field everywhere in the database. Will have to wait and see if this turns up again...

A PUNISHMENT OF THE GODS! We're DOOMED!
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Re: Soo.... Kildare is missing.....
Err... yes. That was also a possibility.

I guess he was angry with me. Though it's all fixed now.
