University of Goldshire

The University of Goldshire is the flagship university of Goldshire.

Establishment

Benjamin I, 2nd Duke of Goldshire established the university by ducal decree in the fourth month of 1589 AN. In the seventh month of that year, the site for the university's campus was selected in the Grand City of Wendor. Construction work began on the University a month later and was completed one year later in 1590.

• Johnathan II, 3rd Duke of Goldshire, B.B.A. 1589 (There is of course no suggestion of impropriety attending the award of a degree to the heir to the Duke of Goldshire by the University of Goldshire before the construction of the university had been completed.)
