Imperial Judex

The Imperial Judex of the Republic of Shireroth is one of the country's judicial body, being part of the Judex System. Headed by the Arbiter, it is used to settle legal disputes as a court of first instance in imperial matters and as a court of second instance in house matters. Any decision of the Imperial Judex may be appealed to the ruling Kaiser.

Additionally, the Arbiter of the Imperial Judex has power to veto amendments to the Charter. Before the appointment of Hypatia Agnesi, the position of "arbiter" was referred to as "provost".
