The legal term Imperial Government nowadays refers to the Federal Level of Government of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth which at present consists of the Kaiser, the Steward, the Landsraad, the Ministries, and the Imperial Judex.
It should be noted that the term Imperial Government is often used to refer to the executive branch of the Federal Level of Government.
Duties
The Imperial Government is charged with conducting the federal part of the administration of Shireroth, to wit: exercising the powers exclusively reserved to the Federal Level of Government by the Charter.
