IMPERIAL DECREE Nº 724
ON THE SUCCESSION TO THE MANGO THRONE

In the event that I should die, abdicate or be removed from the throne of this Imperial Republic without having declared a named successor, the throne shall be succeeded to by the Steward, inasmuch that the Steward claims the kaisership within 1 ASC unit from the confirmation of my death, abdication or removal from the throne.
In the event that the Steward not claiming the throne within the alotted time, the Landsraad shall elect a new kaiser. During the time of sede vacante, either the Steward or the first Imperial Minister to respond the confirmation of my death, abdication or removal from office shall rule. The title of the steward shall then be Marquess (or Marchioness) of Shirekeep, Ruling Steward of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. In the event that an Imperial Minister shall rule, his or her title shall be Regent of the Imperial Republic.
