Shireroth has been an independent country since the fall of Tymaria, but its history stretches even further back to its predecessor nations, to their predecessors, and to the origins of micronationalism. Everyone agrees the old Apollo Sector had a strong influence on Shireroth, though the extent and nature of that influence is still hotly debated. But Shireroth quickly outgrew its Apollonian routes as the age of the Kaisers began, and expanded into new domains during its periods of association with Alexandros and Tymaria. The addition of Yardistan to its lands changed its character further, and the influx of citizens from Sonoma brought Shireroth into a form recognizable today. Since then, Shireroth has had its share of friends, enemies, conflicts, golden ages, immigrants, and emigrants, but always retained its distinct but quirky identity.
