Björka Hnossdóttir

Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir, the progenitress mortal of the House of Ettlingar Freyu.

Björka Hnossdóttir was a Lady Imperial from the Days of Valtia. She is the daughter of the Goddess Hnoss and the progenitress mortal of the House of Ettlingar Freyu.

History

Björka entered the annals of history when the Goddess Freyja left a gold basket with a Valtian chieftain called Heiðlindur Gunnleifursson of the House of Hjalteyri with baby Björka and a treasure of gold, jewellery and precious stones worth a small fortune in it. There also were notes in the basket explaining that the babe was a descendant of Hers called Björka Hnossdóttir and destined to great future as well as providing detailed instructions about how the infant was to be raised. Kneppedís also commanded the Jarl Heiðlindur to bring up Björka as his own.

Trivia

• The Bailiwicks of Björkalan and Björkasbýur as well as the Royal City of the same name are named after Björka.
• In honour of their ancestor Björka (and their great-great-grandmother Tuuler Kalir), King Noah of Elwynn and Kaiser Hjalmar Redquill of Shireroth use the phrase "Deeds of Tuuler Kalir and Björka Hnossdóttir through their descendants!" in their decrees.
• Björka is extensively featured in the two Elwnet TV series which are called the Legend of Björka and Tuuler and Björka in the 25th Century.
• Björkaborg Hall, the seat of the Royal Governor of Amokolia which is situated in the Royal City of Anun, is named after Björka ever sice the annexation by Elwynn of the Jeannite Kingdom of Amokolia.
