The Barrowlands is an area of extensive plains in the Deep South which is situated in the Circuit of the Royal Precinct of the Elwynnese Union called the Emirate of Alalehzamin and Utasia which is known as the Vale of Angularis. It is very rich in archaeological remains and ancient lore.

Since the year 1640 the area is, in accordance with Royal Law, organized and administered as a Bailiwick of the Elwynnese Union.
