Benacian Anglish is similar to English exept that the vowels are pronounced differently. It is spoken mainly in Benacia, along the docks and is actually just a heavily accented version of English.

History of the Language

Benacian Anglish was developed when Benacia first began being settled with the English-speaking Shirithians. It replaced the now lost Benacian language as the dominant dialect of the region. At first, the Shirithians wrote in normal English, but when they tried to teach the Native Benacians to write, the natives often mispelled words, and so Benacian Anglish became even more distinct from normal English.
