IMPERIAL DECREE Nº 698
REESTABLISHING THE METZLER UNIVERSITY

HIS MAJESTY THE KAISER
The University of Sir John Metzler III, also known as the Metzler University, is re-established as an institution of learning and research in the City of Shirekeep. The university is owned by the Kaiser's Court.
The Kaiser is ex officio Chancellor of the university.
The head of the university's administration, pedagogy, research and education is the Provost, who is appointed by the Kaiser, and shall perform as ordered by the Kaiser.
The Provost is advised by the Board. The Board is appointed by the Kaiser, on the advice of the Provost.
Done at the Keep the twenty-third day of Silnuai in the year sixteen-hundred and twenty-one.
