The Conquest of the Heartland was the campaign in which Jarl Harald of Ettlingar Freyu conquered the continent known as the Heartland. Supported by the Ladies Divine Frigga, Freyja and Idunn, his Principal Travel Companions, and a small army, the young chieftain subdued the whole of the whole of the continent. Not all of the Heartland had to be taken by conquest, some regions and Houses actively supported Jarl Harald and others submitted voluntarily. The conquest took several years and formally ended with the signing of the Pact of the Heartland.
