| Thompson was born in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of a seventeen year old

| single mother. Though economically disadvantaged (he never really was
| |
| among the 'haves,' usually being more like the 'almost haves,' and
| |
| sometimes the 'have nots'), he lived a carefree existance throughout
| |
| his first twelve years, and, at the age of three, met and formed a
| |
| friendship with Daniel R. Kemp, who today remains Thompson's oldest and
| |
| closest friend. Thompson and Kemp used to raise hell together, stealing
| |
| beer from their parents at ages as young as five years, committing acts
| |
| of petty vandalism as young as ten, etc. The carefree and guiltfree
| |
| years would end for Thompson in his thirteenth year, though. At the age
| |
| of thirteen Thompson had begun to become more reclusive and developed
| |
| symptoms of depression. It all culminated on Halloween of that year,
| |
| when Thompson made a suicide attempt. Afterwards, his family and
| |
| friends were always supportive and helpful in his recovery, but it took
| |
| him five years to recover, in full, emotionally, and he is still
| |
| somewhat reclusive today.

| == Early Slobovia ==

| On Christmas in the same year as his suicide attempt, Thompson had
| |
| recieved a webtv and an internet connection. For about a year he
| |
| usually used it soley to find something to do, however, one day he
| |
| stumbled over a micronation, and the fundamental seed for Slobovia was
| |
| planted. Over the following weeks he rounded up his friends, including
| |
| Kemp, and looked for a name. Finally, in early April, 2000, Thompson,
| |
| Kemp, and mutual friends including Jesse Capitani, Michael Forest and
| |
| Justin Bailey, founded [[Slobovia]], naming it after a fictional nation
| |
| named 'Slobbovia' which was the setting of a pornographic comic book.

| The nation was then, due to the fact that the only one of the five with
| |
| and internet connection was Thompson, a primarily offline nation.

| Consensus had it that [[Slobovia]] would have a German theme (due to
| |
| the fact that all of the founders had a measure of German blood), and
| |
| that Thompson would be the Slobovian Kaiser.

| == Mistakes ==

| In his early years as a micronationalist, Thompson had come to make
| |
| many mistakes, much of which were committed on the floor of the League
| |
| of Seccessionis States (LoSS). [[Slobovia]] had become a member of the
| |
| LoSS in June, 2000 as a result of Thompson's first mistake - lying
| |
| about Slobovia's age, it would not be his last. Between the middle of
| |
| 2000 and early 2001, Thompson, through many immature actions, had begun
| |
| to amass a reputation of being immature and stupid. For the most part,
| |
| it was true that Thompson was immature, however, a half a decade of
| |
| mistakes would slowly bring a shred of wisedom to him.

| == Recent developments ==

| In mid-2004 Slobovia more or less collapsed and Thompson temporarily
| |
| left micronationalism. However, in December of that year he was
| |
| approached by Edgard Portela, and asked to co-found the Republic of
| |
| [[San Martin]], and he became Vice President thereof. By February,
| |
| 2005, problems had begun to appear in [[San Martin]], namely the
| |
| division caused by political parties fighting to attain the position of
| |
| head of state. On March 1, 2005, Portela staged a coup and declared
| |
| Thompson Emperor of [[San Martin]]. Furthermore, Thompson refounded
| |
| [[Slobovia]] in late 2005. | |
