Imperial Decree #172: Heir and Abdication The Imperial Steward is free to choose any heir for me that he likes, including himself (which I recommend). He's also tasked with tying up any the odd ends that he didn't want to tie up in my absence, such as the banning of Jacobus (assuming that hasn't already been done somewhere out of my sight).
