The '''Zatriarchate of Matbaa''' is a Assyrian- and Syriac-themed micronation founded by [[Max Edwards]] in December [[2005]]. Matbaa was founded by Edwards following his exit from [[Kemetia]], which he would later classify as a "slightly unstable and highly inactive" micronation after being rejected for the position of foreign minister by Kemetia's King Adam. After a successful year of active existence, Matbaa fell largely into inactivity during [[2007]] despite several attempts at reinvigorating the micronation.
