I looked about me and found I was in a blackened cave, dark, cold, yet dry as a desert. As I looked upon it its eye lit up red as if set ablaze within its skull, and slowly the creature rose before me. What a massive creature it was when fully erect before me, what an awesome brute. I could sense a Dæmonic air about it and began to fear that I was seeing before me a full fledge Dæmon of Balgurd. It has recently undergone a revival. <br />

Rocentia was founded by a group of micronationalists who had become disgusted with the state of affairs in various other micronations in which they had previously been citizens. All too often, micronations can be nothing more than extensions of the egos of their founders and/or leading citizens, or even worse, platforms for the political propaganda of various stripes of extremists, ranging from out-and-out Fascists on the extreme right to uncompromising Communists on the far left. Another problem with many micronations involves the lack of civility among their citizens. Political differences all too often devolve into personal feuds and flame wars, replete with insults and character assassination. <br />

Rocentia seeks to transcend these pitfalls to create a truly interesting political, social and economic simulation where anyone who wishes to belong to and participate in such a simulation may do so freely and without the hassles endemic to all too many micronations. Rocentia has a unicamerial legislative branch, called the House of Archons. When there are less than 20 citizens, the House is comprised of all of the active citizens in the republic (except for the President and Chief Justice). When the number of active citizens increases above the twenty citizen threshold, elections will be called. The head of the House of Archons is the Speaker, who presides over the House.<br />

The current President of the Free Republic of Rocentia is [[Peter S. Hickey]], leader of the Progressive-Futurist Party. The President is both the head of state and head of government. He/she is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and appoints the cabinet. The President can also veto acts of the House of Archons, which is subject to override. <br />

Rocentia's history is indelibly tied to the history of the other nations that formed the Cyber Islands Chain. Cyberia is the longest surviving, the others long dead but not forgotten. It is said that history defines a nation and its culture, some micronations use a fictional pre-internet history to aid them in defining themselves , while others totally reject this notion, relying on their online history to do this. Rocentia falls into the former, its fictional history was written by Kenneth K. Thacker and also includes references to the formation of the Cyber Islands Chain and the other micronations that used to occupy them.<br />

<div>Bongo Bo is a [[Skunk Ape]] (Australopithecus Menetea). As Chief of the Apes of northern [[Menet]], he was the first of his kind to interact with humans on a regular basis. His friendship with [[Capt. Geoffrey T. Spaulding]] forged during the [[Third War for Cyberian Liberation]] continues to this day.<br />

Bongo found a laptop and accessories abandoned during one of the armies that had moved through his territory. He taught himself how to use the machine, but still refuses to use the 'shift' key.<br />

Bongo's people sided with Spaulding's side during the war in part to rid their area of dangerous drugs, burning many cannibis fields and intoxicating their enemies downwind.<br />

After the microns had come out of hiding from the City of the Sun and settled within the island of Solaria, a female micron of the Lum'Eir clan by the name of Rai'Nil felt an irresistable urge to restart the faith of millenia ago. Feeling that this was divine intervention, she brought a crowd of curious microns with potential faith, and made a glorious speech now known as the ''"Rekindling of the Faith"'', that brought the microns of the crowd to offically refound Soloralism. The religion quickly spread throughout the micron populace in Solaria, and soon spread into the mainland of the [[Flying Islands of Jasonia]]. By the [[Jasonia - The Dark One|Dark One]] campaign, Soloralism became a sizable minority within the Flying Islands of Jasonia, both in Jasonia Proper and in its province of Tapfer. However, during the Dark One campaign, Soloralists (Especially Micron Soloralists) were explicitly percecuted and killed by Dark Bill, the possessed form of [[Bill Dusch]]. Balance sects of Soloralism focus on the quintessential pluralism dogma, as opposed to the "Find your own path" dogma, and accomodate many different beliefs within the religion instead of specialization. While some clerics of the church may choose to specialize to a specific quintessence or god, the decrees by the Archons encourages members of the Faith, especially its Templars, to be non-specific and purely Balancist.<br />

Soloralism has events that happened in olden times, but it regards them as history, not merely stories. These events happened just like the books say. There is no exaggeration, no uncertainty. Everything is preserved as accurately as possible. Also unique to Soloralism is that this history continues to the present day. The Soloralist gods have not forgotten their people even if the people have forgotten them. There is clear divine influence in current events, and those events are to be added to the Soloralist books of lore.<br />

To deny Soloralism is not just to deny the deities: it is to deny the very past of Micras. Alternatively, those who believe in the history of Micras are Soloralists. Our gods are not vain; they do not need people to worship them as long as they are living their lives as the gods intended. The quintessence of an individual person is always unbalanced: one of the six attributes is largest. One of the gods poured more of his or herself into us. We know little of the afterlife, but we believe that when we die, the gods will judge us on how well we lived our lives in accordance to the quintessences. If a person with a large intellect quintessence lived a life based on chaos, then that person has disobeyed [[Clistiro]]'s path for them and will be punished. These rewards and punishments are unknown to us, but they are not eternal. All quintessences are eventually added to the [[Empathi Field]], a great network of magical and spiritual energy that exists between all beings that gods have created. The Field powers the gifts gods have given mortals, such as magic. When magic users cast spells, they are actually using the power of the quintessences. A great magic user is never born; rather, the quintessences converge more closely around that person in order to help them. Even within the Empathi Field, quintessences still retain some things from life.<br />

Many quintessences will remain in the Empathi Field until the next cycle, for the gods can create new quintessences as new beings are born. Essentials attempt to find the Quintessence that suits them best and follow that Quintessence to the best of their ability. They do not pray, believing that no god exists to listen to them and that they would be better off acting on their own level. The basis for Soloralism started before its founder, [[Bill Trihus]], had even heard of micronations. When he was young in the late 90's, Bill liked to create pretend strategy guides to games that he "created" as a hobby. In 1998, he created a particular game that was sort of based on his real life, called [[Billy's Life 5]]. In this game, Bill was the main character. Its basis is not important, but the significant facts was that there was a being called Pure Evil, the incarnation of all mortal evils. Pure Evil was not a being in the normal sense; he was more like a coalescence of light, or a gas, with a sickly green color. It had the ability to possess someone and control them. In this game, Pure Evil possessed and controlled a classmate of Bill's, named Doug Brown. Using his powers, he managed to wreck havoc across Bill's town and eventually rip it out of the world. The only chance Bill had was to defeat Pure Evil. The significance of this plotline was that it started the creation of the belief of the quintessences in Bill, and was later presented as a backstory for the later game, [[Jasonia - The Dark One]].<br />

After the [[Third War for Cyberian Liberation]],the [[Committee of National Salvation]] of the [[Restored Commonwealth of Cyberia]], renamed its capital in honor of [[Tim Dunkin]], founder of [[DSSI]] (Dunkin Scientific Services, Inc.), the nation's largest employer and commercial enterprise.<br />

Today Dunkinopolis is the capital of the thriving [[Federal Republic of Cyberia]].<br />
