This issue of the View From Benacia brought to you by Death-In-A-Can! When you just can't get rid of that liveliness in your step, choose Death-In-A-Can. (Product of the Imperial Line of Mortis since 1978 ASC.) We start off tonight by welcoming our newest citizen, Foghorn, recently from the Dinarchy of Antica. As many of you know, Antica, a longtime friend of Shireroth, has recently been expreiencing troubles in government related to the path of reform in that country. With Dinarch Octavius Me emigrated and former Chancellor Olorix at the very least off on leave, due to the heated exchanges, Foghorn made his decision to leave Antica himself and immigrate to Shireroth. Another poor sheep brought into the fold.... muhahahaha.

In light of his considerable micronational experience, his minority period was waived, and Foghorn was allowed to become the Assistant Minister of Information. But this was not the end of Foghorn's meteoric rise, for shortly thereafter, a new vacancy opened up that required filling. After an insanely long time at his post, Gryphon the Pure, citing macronational issues, resigned as Minister of the Interior. Fax Celestis, who was granted a sort of semi-Stewardship during the Kaiser's brief absence over the weekend, appointed himself to replace Gryphon, giving his own former job of Minister of Immigration and Naturalization to Foghorn. Thus, only 4 days 3 hours after immigrating (by his own account), he found himself back in the MiniImNat office... except this time, he was sitting behind the desk. Good show!

Meanwhile, in Antica, a leadership change seems to have been successfully implemented, with Gemini being elected to the coveted title of Dinarch by the Antican Senate. Antica having no set rule of succession, the election was convened rather hastily, with the normal lengths of voting time waived for the event.

In lighter news, Shireroth got itself some advertisements on shlockmercenary.com yesterday. Hellz yeah! Kudos to Fax for making it happen. '
