4.)Stop and say high in Novatainia
5.)Visit Nelaga.

Can anybody think of some other things I need to do?

Shirithians having some sort of regular visiting of Novatainia would be much appreciated. You can't say I don't return the favour

It does. I'm a Novatainian citizen.

It doesn't. You're also a Shirithian citizen, therefore you're obligated to visit anyway. Now, if you just stopped by because you wanted to and you weren't a citizen, that's a different story.

I'm not liking the fact that you consider visiting Shireroth, despite being a Duke here, as you visiting as a foreign official. I don't care what business you have, while you are here, you are Shirithian and nothing else in my eyes.

Yes, I'm Shirithian. But I'm also (and primarily) a Novatainian. By being an active citizen here, I really know how Shireroth is running. I can defend Shirithian decisions on Novatainia with much more certainty, and I can drum up support in Novatainia for Shireroth in a way I can't do for most other nations because I know all the people really well. At the same time, when foreign affairs issues do come up on Shireroth, I can act as a Novatainian diplomat. But no primarily Shirithian citizen understands Novatainia that much, I expect. It would at least be nice to have the odd Shirithian diplomatic visit.

Well, at the moment there's the MASS conflict (nice pun, eh? ), the Maraguo Conflict, and the Ashkenatzi-Tellian Border War... that's only three to my knowledge...

If war breaks out between Toketi and Passas, we're in that one.

We'll probably intervene in Cerulea/Ocia if stuff starts getting itchy there.
