To whom it may concern.

Respect to the Dukes of Brookshire and Yardistan and the Baron of Vorpmadal and Baroness of Absentia in particular, who should pay especial attention to this thread.

Vorpmadal is to my mind both the niftiest and most Yardistani subdivision in all Shireroth. I was once Baron, and I really liked it. I saw this post and was immediately incensed as I remembered how Yardistani Vorpmadal really is and angered that I had bloody well forgotten.

Anyway, I don't know what's what, but I would really like Vorpmadal back in Yardistan. Transferring the name of the Barony, not too much, right? I'm sure we could sort something out.

Thing is...

H4773r really liked Lunaris. I remember him being well chuffed when Lunaris was reunited under Vorpmadal as a Barony.(And then, when Krasniy actually reunited the two.) And Vorpmadal is definitely HIS more than it is MINE.

All THAT aside there is another problem. Knight-Comrade Krasniy is Baron of Vorpmadal, and, though he has disappeared, it is still actually his more than anyone's. So, that's another issue.

What does everyone think? Despite all these problems I believe they can be overcome and Vorpmadal and Yardistan can be reunited once more.

One possible solution:

In Brookshire:
1. Vorpmadal, as a name, moved to Yardistan.
2. New Barony of Greater Lunaris - or possible the more nifty "The Lunatic Barony" - created with Krasniy as Baron.
in Yardistan:
3. Barony of Absentia remains Barony of Absentia, but County of Mar Sara moved to new Barony of Vorpmadal.
4. Lac Glacei moved under Vorpmadal for the sake of making up the numbers, and I think it works. Vorpmadal could be the Yardistan of Yardistan! (If anyone remembers the original role of Yardistan Duchy.)

As IRE of Lac Glacei, I give encouragement and consent to this plan, esp. #4.

That is the long and short of it. There are other matters to be considered, but with regard to Brookshire and her subdivisions, that's about it.

If we agree to this, I plan to re-rename Vorpmadal to Neurac, if no one has any better idea.

Great. Let me just ask Prodigy Dux about the new Barony in Yardistan and we'll be good to go.

Cant you merge Absentia and Vorpmadal?

There is actually alot of potential in Absentia. It just needs an active Baron and an active Count or two. As such, I don't think it would make sense to lose it. Plus I like the name Absentia too much to do that, because I want a Barony of Vorpmadal, not Vorpmadal-Absentia or something, so it would be lost.
