Bounties

Tis quite time for bounties again. The Imperial Treasury has .... little enough money to justify taxing after this ... but I still think 3000 worth of bounties should be a good value.
So, once again, the offer is open for individuals who'd like to submit a tender for doing the bounties for private citizens (that is, don't include "wages" for any crown servants). You may allocate up to 3000 total erb towards the loyal Shirithian citizens who have helped develop Shireroth culturally, economically, historically, militarily etc, including a bounty to yourself for doing this service. The MiniTrade will then select between competing tenders to award the winner. The amount of erb required (you don't have to use the full 3000 if you don't think its merited) will then be transferred to the winners account, and they will need to transfer it to the people they applied to bountify within the next 48 hours, or the money will be revoked.
So, tender!

If you're trying to do a tender, you also need to include how much you pay them, and preferably people outside your duchy
But I assume you know that and are just suggesting those to people who are going to write up a tender. They're indeed good suggestions.

The fish in the head should be for you for not mentioning that in the original post.

So doing the bounties for all of Shireroth doesn't imply people outside Brookshire?

Yes, it does, but it doesn't imply that I should exclude Brookshirians. That is my list anyway, take it or leave it.

Oh, certainly don't exclude them ... just don't exclude everyone else too ...

I don't have the time, interest or knowledge to make a full list for all of Shireroth. If you didn't mean that I should exclude Brookshirians, you forgot a "too" at the end.

Edit: Ah, after reading your post for the tenth time I see the connection. Now the question is whether I am slow to get it or if it was unclear.

That's fine. I do this public tendering precisely because I haven't been paying attention to every single post and might miss stuff. I just can't in good faith accept as the final tender one that only includes citizens of Brookshire, that's all.

Gotta be impartial and all (I'm quite happy for others to add your list to their own, of course).

Or, if you get a list from each duchy, you could combine a bit and get a good list. Usually, you have a good understanding of your own duchy and its citizens, but not as good of other duchies. At least I do.
BTW, do you still hand out bounties for duke-ification?

To the first statement: I'll see what people do. If they go with that format, I will. That's the fun of public tendering.
To the second: No, sorry, that was removed a while ago. You do get taxed though

....and the fact that Landsraad power comes from erbs....
I've got to do something about that....

The incentive to hoard within the duchy needs to be addressed. I am very reluctant to pay anything to a non-Brookshirian since we are still in last place in voting power.

Well, partly that's addressed through taxing each duchy evenly, so it pulls down hoarded money over time (to stay ahead, you have to keep developing the nation). And partly ... nah, people just have to have good enough stuff to sell to get others to buy it.
Though my plan to make not all money in the Duchy instantly votes, but instead make you buy voting power could help (then money in your duchy is, yes, potential votes, but people may not bother converting it if they're too far ahead)

One Duke, one vote.
I've reclaimed most of my funds, since the charity thing wasn't going anywhere.
After everything I gave away, I still have over 5000 erb. If I change my residence regularly, even if I was not Kaiser, I could mess the Landsraad up good.

Ah, but changing your residence regularly would count as fraud .... probably.

Could be. But the example points out a flaw in the system.

One which I've corrected in the new proposal. However, if someone did change their duchy for a less than clearly legitimate reason, or more than once, I'd nab them under Fraud, which is so delightfully open ended I can do what I like, and probably confiscate all their money ...

I was wondering why Mike didn't include you, since you are Brookshirithian .... just tender your own thing including paying you and people outside your duchy ....

Give Duke Mike a pile of money and let him reward the appropriate Brookshirerithians.

Bah, I give up. Last time I try this "tender" business ... people can't even submit proper tenders ... [/muttering to self]
Lord Brookshire, despite nominating you've argued so much I'm going to take your proposal as "half a tender".
Baron Maksym of K'Tzuni for cultural work and general niftiness (and sorry again for forgetting you) (maps, language) 800
Count Oze of Highpass for cultural work (county development, story) 600
Count Kingsbury of Amarr for cultural work (county development) 300
Count William of Benacia for cultural work (county development) 300
Myself and Erik for cultural work (railway design) 600 + 600
3200 shall be transferred to your account shortly, and let the others bug you if they don't get their money.
In the meantime, I better at least make sure one person from each other Duchy is recognised ....
Andreas, for various piracy posts, 300.
Scott and Iskander, for fixing up Elwynn, 300 each.
Ari, for inventing Emissary Auctions, 200.
Bah, Ryan doesn't have an account so can't get money for Mar Saran work ...
Jess, for a decree which made it into Malabor, 100.
Then wages.
Praetor - 400 (passed bills)
Judex - 400 (commented on the legality of a few features)
MiniTrade - 700 (writing far too many economics posts and then explaining them far, far too many times ... + proposed reform)
MiniInt - 700 (various work, especially fixing Elwynn)
MiniImNat .... I'm not sure the actual Minister's done anything, with Carol's prolonged absence (we all pray she returns soon) and Stewards handling other details ...
Steward - 400 for filling in type stuff.
MOMA - 300 for "Taking Charge"
I'll transfer the money shortly ...
