Joint Economic System

Been thinking on how to describe this. I've decided I'll go with as follows:

A vote-based economy, with 100 000 in circulation, 10 000 of which is government reserves and around 10 000 taken in taxes. Money is paid out to citizens from government largely on a bounty basis (with 200 the rough value for a basic bounty). Gods and services are sold primarily between citizens as people, not on behalf of simulated countries. All citizens have a bank account on Shirebank (though each nation gets a separate sub-section).

With this then, exchange is roughly 1:1 with the erb, with differences in value based on other factors (I'm in the process of working out exchange formulae with some help from Hesam, roughly based on old ICEO formulas. Hey, now MNN has gone and I've lost my access to ICEO archives, anyone got a link to an ICEO formula for reference? :whip )

I dislike formulas, and I doubt people will change their voting system to include economic power.

Formula's for exchange rates are only a rough guide. Remember, market exchange rates are our ideal. Even with a formula, we expect the money lenders to fluctuate around it, picking up a nice margin for themselves.

And if they don't want a vote economy, they don't want a joint system. Simple.

Like I said, my idea of a joint system just meant their system and our system meet up somewhere.

Babelfish sucks. Simple circle translation (English>German>French>Portuguese>English) of the first paragraph of this page:
The Senate d' State is the high Chamber of the Bicamerastaat-Kongresses, the Chamber of the Communes c' it is the Chamber of the representatives. The constuction and the energies of the Senate and the house are manufactured in articles d' the constitution (not that d' expressions " ; it uses; upper" ; e " ; lower" ;). Independently, the population is represented each American state of two senators and therefore based in the same representation of each state. Senators serve the expressions d' year of six that they are varied, so that of two in two years, one terço of the Senate, while l' another one terço in two d' other years it is chosen, that is chosen a constant grouping. Therefore it has of two in two years of the races in redor of the Senate. In compliance with a theory, that is popular enters the scientists of the government of the United States, the Senate as a body more advisory as the Chamber of the representatives is considered much time, because the Senate is smaller e its members serves long expressions more than and an atmosphere kollegialere and less parteigängerischere that she is isolated more little of l' public opinion that the house allows. The Senate has about a l' exclusion of the energies that are not attributed to the house, including the assent to contracts as federal stipulation of its confirmation and assent to the nominations of the cabinet secretaries and judges.

Meanwhile, Google with the same circle process produces:

The U. S. Senate is the upper house of the U. S. both houses of Congress, the greater the lower house is the House of Representatives. The composition and powers of the Senate and the House are, in Article I of the Constitution (which did not use the term "superior" and "low"). Regardless of population, each state is represented by two senators, and therefore, on the basis of equal representation from each state. Senators of six years, staggered so that every two years, one third of Senate is elected, while the other is elected as the third most two years, a constant reshuffling. Therefore, there are Senate races every two years. One theory popular time for scientists from the U.S. government, the Senate is seen as an advisory body of the House of Representatives because the Senate is smaller and its members longer, so that fewer Academy and a political party atmosphere, a little more isolated the public's house. The Senate has sole power to several steps at home, including the approval of contracts as a precondition for the ratification and approval of the appointment of Cabinet secretaries and judges of Confederation.

Not too bad...

Right ... after much thought, and Vandersluij's law, I think we should drop any treaty about Joint Economic Systems. Maybe the odd economic conference to share ideas, but nothing that suggests Shireroth's system is inherently better than anything else ...

I never participated on MNN except to turn down an award, and I don't plan on participating on any of it's reincarnations. ;)

A-
It's Shireroth's, therefore by definition better than anyone's.

B-
Its prime mover was a Babkhan, so it is therefore inhertently evil.

C-
The Ancient Wisdom says that love of money is the root of all evil.

I guess everything balances......
