According to an update posted by her daughter, Hypatia's Mom is in very bad shape. We hope she retains the will to fight, and gets the best available medical care. However, not to act like a doctor instead of just a tree daemon, but if you feel there's something you want to say to her... now might be a good time.
micronations.net has been discontinued. After a life almost as long as Shireroth's, always at the intersection point between dozens of communities, the site has been taken down due to its owners no longer having the time to fulfill the many demands of the greatest intermicronational community. However, plans are already being drawn up to find a place for a successor - hopefully healing the rift between the communities that have come to define themselves around two different cartographical societies.
In news less likely to bring you down, the Shirithian Commonwealth of Nations (technically, the name's still in flux) has been opened up for initial development and treaty-drafting; The Absentia-Antya land move has been accepted by the MCS (yay!); and new local demigods have been added to the Divine Census for Highpass.
