... but why wouldn't being king of such a nifty nation as Two Chairs count as a citizenship?

Welcome anyway :). The Dukes will be here shortly to entice you to join their duchies. (you're welcome to join Straylight :))

Once again more micronationalists are drawn into the wonder that is Shireroth .... I'm sure you'll have fun here. :yay:

Aaak! My identity is uncovered.

TwoChairs being less of a Micras-type micronation and more of a Cultural-petri dish-type project, I didn't think it would be of interest to Shireroth. Consider me a Tchairian if you like.

I find Shireroth very interesting.

You are very welcome to join Brookshire and the Barony of Lakhesis. I have a lot of counties just laying around, so I need counts.

I would be happy to join Brookshire. What would my duties be as a Count?

Mostly to develop the culture of your county. What you can do is really only limited by your Baron, Duke and Imperial law. But I don't intend to restrict you.

Would culture development be things like history and an in-detail map of the County?

Heh, sorry about that... I just get a little bit snoopy about immigrants these days if I haven't heard of them before :archy. Yeah, TwoChairs looks more than micronationish enough to me... it doesn't legally mean much though aside that you can only hold one further citizenship together with Shirithian citizenship. Practically it means that we know you're an accomplished micronationalist, and that's a good thing :)

Hello, new friend!

My name is Prodigy Almighty, i.e. Boris Serov ronToketi VI. I am the current Duke of Yardistan, and I urge you to consider joining us in our wacky little chain of islands!

Currently, it's me, Baron Jess of the United Isles, Baroness Gilrean of Absentia, Count Benkern of Mar Sara, and Count Gman Russell of Yardistan. We would appreciate a few more counts to help develop some of our newer lands, namely Northern Absentia (which will soon be renamed, and if you want, you can be the one to rename it), Naudia'Diva, and Amity Mirioth and So-sara.

Please consider joining my duchy! :thumbsup

How do I know when my application is approved/disapproved?

Rai Avon-El, acting Registrar, should be along to do the officials soonish. He does have a bit of a habit of falling off the face of Micras every now and then, though, so we don't actually know *when* he'll be around... but if it doesn't happen in a couple of days I'm sure the Steward or Kaiser will be just as eager to handle it.

He just said he was going to hospital, didn't he? What is it with Registrars and hospital ...

Well, I'll speed up the process here.

As Steward, I APPROVE your citizenship application. Welcome to Shireroth, I hope you enjoy yourself.

If I might make a suggestion, the Guide for the Perplexed should give you a nice introduction to Shireroth and might help you decide upon the Duchy that's best for you.

*takes off Registrar hat and dons Steward hat*

Welcome to Shireroth! By filling out that form, you've signed your life away to me (until Jacobus is coronated anyway)! Congratulations! :yay:

As Praetor, I APPROVE this application*. :p

*: I'm well aware that I don't have that power, but I need to impress the new Shirerithians. :D

Welcome to Shireroth! I'm Scott, Prince-Elder of Hyperborea, Shireroth's northernmost and niftymost territory.

I like the Two Chairs site. It reminds me of Yardistan a little, just because of the way its name tells a story. And I am glad that my home province of Munster hosted such a fascinating legend.

Please stick around, and maybe even come to the chatroom sometimes (the link is beneath Malarbor on top of the forum).

Hey!Prodigy, I'm a Yardistani too, although I'll be living in Shirekeep for a while. All of our Duchies are wonderful.

Welcome to you, Mr. Oze, The Tchairian. I'll read up on the nation later!

I'm aware you're Yardistani, O Soon-To-Be Niftiness, but I don't know whether or not you can (legally) continue being a Count as Kaiser...

If you can, that would be spectacular! :thumbsup

It doesn't matter. Straylight and Yardistan are pretty well off for citizens. Let Brookshire and Elwynn and Kildare have some...
