Uh... that's kinda the point here, you know. Well, not the way you mean it, but... these computers aren't exactly the kind that would end scarcity or something. They're more of an example of the concept of giving up too much freedom for little security - it doesn't really even matter whether you give it up to a machine or a system consisting of humans trying to act like a machine. It's just that AIs happen to be involved in these two videos, and I like them for aesthetic reasons. Especially the first one. It's so ridiculously outdated (it's been long a while since the visual symbol for "big computer" was a huge array of blinkenlights), but it still works. Though you probably have had to read the Illuminatus! Trilogy to get it... but it's still awesome.
