Thread to post what you'll pay for (to give people ideas)

Things I´m willing to pay for:

The Kildare history I asked for before ... I´m now willing to pay 200 erb for someone to acquire the paragraphs I wanted for me (whether you write it up yourself, or hunt down an ex-Kildarian and make them do it for you, I don´t mind). I´ll pay an extra 100 if you fill in the Lost Age in the wiki in the same style as Bill did.
If you don´t recall, I´m asking for a basic summary of the in-sim history of Kildare. Just something like (making this up from names I remember, not accurate) In the reign of Duke Gryphon, the unorganised territories were united under Thane Hatter as the Kitanus Fields. The residents there all rode giant felines, and went on pilgramages from ...
Or: The Halluci Barony reached its height under Baron Scott, but he fell ill and died, and his barony was split in two, between Count Ozarka and Countess Hypatias. The people of Halluci dwindled, and ...

I´ll also pay for part works (that is, if you do half the time period, I´ll pay you half the bounty), and add a bonus if the work is completely well and in a timely manner.

For far less money ... Novatainia would like to get little forum images like Shireroth has. Some (eg Regions, DZ) we´ll use flags and stuff we already have for them, but most (like Chat, Magic, Police etc) I´m for images. That is, link me to an image. I´ll pay 15 erb per image I like and put on. I´m not expecting you to make them, just find me suitable images.

Not really. It's nothing regular - its just me saying I'm willing to pay money for this. Like Erik and his Imperial Smackdown graphic ....

I went to the company forum for that. This is why I'm trying to encourage more companies to get their own forums, so we can go to specific companies and ask for jobs to be completed.

But see, I'm posting this here because there is no company relevant to it ... and so I'm hoping someone will pick it up, and if they like it, start the relevant company for future jobs. There is no supply, so I'm creating clearly the demand and hoping the supply takes care of itself ...

Ah. Yes. Wise indeed.

I'm actually thinking of founding a software company. But I already have the Stock Market company... And aside from the bank, there isn't much demand for software... and I'm lazy.

Therefore use Python! It makes things simple. :]

If you really are interested, CheddarCorp could quickly open up a software division... what specs do you need for this database? (we really should be called Monterey Jack of All Trades Corp.. :p ).

Do you remember my previous attempts at trading?
It needs to facilitate the buying and selling of resources at various prices (so be able to swap both resources and money between different nations). Resources need to reset monthly, but monetary transactions be permanent. It also needs to be able to work out a couple of complicated nested If/Then statements (though I have them all written up in excel). I had one all done in Access a year ago (for a school assignment) - then realised how hard it was to load a 5mb Access database online for a number of people to use ...

The real question is how many users? If it's just one person entering the data into their computer, that's all fairly simple. BUT, if it has to online and editable by multiple users, I don't know how to work/get a server from which to run it all. :( If you need multiple users, try talking to whoever made the ShireBank, cuz that's about the same idea...

Yeah, it needs to be editable by someone from each country ...

I think I'll run with just an excel sheet per company ... far easier.
