Negotiations for New Bank features.

So. What new features does MiniTrade desire from the bank?
I was thinking of enabling a way to distinguish Personal accounts from Company accounts. Which would allow for the potential of other features involving just companies, or just personal accounts. Perhaps a way to distinguish government accounts?
Perhaps some better viewing options for the logger? Such as See Income vs. See Expense vs See All. For transaction view.
Do we want the user to be able to do anything aside from change their password?
Tell me what you desire.. and I'll tell you what it'll cost.

would companies be registered to a duchy?

I'd assume. And I'd assume they would be registered to the duchy the owner is from, but that's not my concern, that's MiniTrade's. I just make the software.

Another option....
When logged in. You can create a Company "Sub-Account" which you can access whenever you log in, is registered to the duchy you are in, and you can move funds in and out of.
Hmm.. new table for it? Or stick it into the standard account table?

But what if a company doesn't like what it's duke is voting

The company subaccount off your main account could be useful, I'm not too interested in the other ones ...

I will begin designing how to make it happen.
Do you want it to function just like a real account, with the ability to move and recieve money independently of the owner? Though the Owner needs to log in to do so.

Yes, I think that would be best. The best analogy is like a subforum. It can do all the things a normal forum can ... its just attached under the forum

We can have some kind of regional fund hierarchy system, in which funds are granted to Duchies' accounts, which can then distribute them to the Baronies' accounts at their leisure, and so forth until the Counts get whatever isn't siphoned off by me along the way!

That's not how this is working.

What if there is no singular owner?

The law says that all companies must have a single owner.

There are clear cases when you, for whatever reason, will want to register a bank account separate from your own duchy ... then you can have two people with access, if you really want. But you do need one clear owner.
Oh, and I have a feature - can you put on the registration page a note asking them to register with a capital letter ... the alphabetising function puts lowercase people at the bottom ....

Pretty sure the right fix to this is case-insensitive collation

I'll look into both.

Current list of Tasks.
1. Improve View Transaction Feature 30 Erb
2. Fix Alphabet order. 10 Erb
3. Company Sub-accounts 50 erb
Total Bill: 90erb
I have no ETC at this time. I need to research and design a few things first.
