Citizenship Bounty Reform.

Hopefully what I'm about to do isn't rank heresy for the Landsraad ... but consensus on the gate isn't there, so ...

I'm going to give the Duke's three options and let you vote for the one you support most.

Note: I'm having trouble finding Scotts changes, were they actually put in the wiki lawbook?
Currently:
1. All new citizens shall receive 50 erb upon joining Shireroth.
2. Any citizen who achieves a higher status within the hierarchy of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth shall be issued a congratulatory gift of money from the Imperial Crown according to his or her new rank, as follows:
a. A commoner becoming a Baron will receive 50 erb.
b. A commoner or Baron becoming a Duke will receive 100 erb.
c. A commoner, Baron, or Duke becoming the Kaiser will receive 300 erb
Now the three options:
Andreas' Version (decreases the bounties to reasonable amounts, still allows Stewards to get a bounty, ensures that people get bounties they skip, no personal payment to Kaiser)
1. All new citizens shall receive 50 erb upon joining Shireroth.
2. Any citizen who achieves a higher status within the hierarchy of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth shall be issued a congratulatory gift of 50 erb from the Imperial Crown according to the level his or her new rank. Such payments will only be made the first time they achieve a higher rank, and include any payments skipped when receiving that rank. That is:
a. A commoner becoming a Baron will receive 50 erb.
b. A commoner becoming a Duke will receive 100 erb. A Baron becoming a Duke will receive 50 erb.
c. A commoner becoming a Steward will receive 150 erb. A Baron becoming a Steward will receive 100 erb. A Duke becoming a Steward will receive 50 erb.
3. Upon the ascension of a new Kaiser (provided they hold the position for the length of time stipulated in Ministry Regulations) they will receive 300 erb in the Household Account.
Ari's Version (remove bounties for positions altogether)
1. All new citizens shall receive 50 erb upon joining Shireroth.
Hesam's idea (at least, I think it was his.) [all current bounties stay as is (except Steward added) amount of money in circulation doubled]
1. All new citizens shall receive 50 erb upon joining Shireroth.
2. Any citizen who achieves a higher status within the hierarchy of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth shall be issued a congratulatory gift of money from the Imperial Crown according to his or her new rank, as follows:
a. A commoner becoming a Baron will receive 50 erb.
b. A commoner or Baron becoming a Duke will receive 100 erb.
c. A commoner, Baron, or Duke becoming the Steward will receive 100 erb.
d. A commoner, Baron, or Duke becoming the Kaiser will receive 300 erb

Act of Landsraad (under XIII.D)
An additional 5000 erb shall be printed. The amount in each account currently shall be doubled.

Oh ... and I think I'm Jonas' rep, so I'll vote for number 1 (Andreas' version). Kildare (600)

Straylight: Option 2 (392)

No rewards for rewards. They're getting a title for christ's sake, isn't that reward enough?

Three appears to be winning on mere erb .... does that mean the bill should be resubmitted as three alone?

*frustrated*

Damn it! We need to come to one conclusion before we vote on this bullshit!

I officially point out as Arbiter that this Bill violates the Procedures of the Landsraad, and does not constitute a valid bill. It is in fact several contradictory bills rolled into one.

I was gonna keep quiet, but frustration appeared, so I speak.

Perhaps I was misunderstood. I meant Option Three alone ...

The Arbiter needs to explain the nature of the violation for his objection to be tolerated.

Your toleration is of no concern to me. The Assistant Arbiter has explained the reasons in the front gate by this point. You can look there.

This bill is withdrawn.

If that's not illegal.

With a recommendantion that the DAFA bill ACTUALLY MAKES IT INTO THE LAWBOOK sometime ...

EDIT: I went and put it in myself. And realised I hadn't been quoting it in full. I did poor Scott a disservice (though its his fault for not quoting it in full to me in the first place)

It's withdrawn, so shouldn't need votes ...
