Memory refresher, here, guys:

Who is Steven, why was he trapped in Norfolk, why does he have a white horse, and why does he want Shireroth dead?

Don't get me wrong, wanting to storm the Shirekeep is enough for me to stomp him in my book. I just want MORE reasons to stomp him. :D

He was one of the original citizens of Antica. Shireroth used to be allied with the old government of Antica, who were scary autocratic military people with lots of eagles on everything and who also happened to be awesome. Then the "plebs" had a big rebellion and turned the whole place into a stupid hippie flowers-and-unicorns commune. We sided with the old military government. Steven was a quasi-leader of the revolutionaries (quasi-leader = "a guy who got some recognition for shouting really loud, even though no one was listening to him") and was rabidly anti-Shirerithian because of our support for the militarists. He and his friend Olorix steered the new hippie commune Antica to oppose Shireroth in as much as possible for a year or two; sometimes it was dead serious and sometimes it was tongue-in-cheek. Then Steven and Olorix left, and the rest of the Anticans mellowed out and became our friends, even though they're still nowhere near as cool as the old militarists.

Anyway, I guess he's back now. The Norfolk thing is something he made up to explain his absence. The white horse is because he enjoys playing a messianic role, although he tends to skip to the "getting betrayed, beaten, and crucified" part, and completely leave out the part about speaking wisdom or saving people.

DEFCON level is raised to "sit around and wait for him to trip over his own feet".

Thanks ... (was he the Dinarchy or the other one, or was that a different split?)

The Last Guide To Incarnations Of Antica You'll Ever Need:

Scary militarist awesome people with whom we were allied many years ago = Dinarchy of Antica
Super-democratic anti-Shireroth people from a few years ago = Republic of Antica
Kind of boring people who just post :sammyj emoticon a lot now = Commonwealth of Antica

Meh, I say, Scott.

This is the culmination of hanging out with Nick and Steven, and Steven drinking a mango-flavored alcoholic beverage. I am not making this up.

Bring it on, I say. It's a better fight for Antica to try than invading Vanderveer. :evil

Scott, if you had a bank account, I would give you 5 erb just for that quote. You are seven different kinds of awesome.

Well then, I have a good reason to want to crush him more! Not only is he trying to attack the Shirekeep, he's also has a failure-Messiah complex, and those old militarists sound cool! *Shakes fist angrily* :angry

Excellent, target practice. Krasniy - crack out the Ikols. It's time to get Chechen, or at the very least Ossetian on the gentlemen astride the white pony. :evil

Why do you think Eunuchs were always conspiring against their masters and engaging in their overthrow and or murder - possibly something to do with being expected to guard the well-stocked harems on account of their lack of any implement to violate the sultan's merchandise?

No Jacobus. We do listen to you when you are shouting - it just happens that we, more often than not, seem to do the opposite of what you advise.

With pleasure, guv'nor.

*fuels missiles*

Really now, Shireroth is arguably at the most active and powerful it's ever been. What possessed this fool to march against us now of all times? :rolleyes

Who knows? Could somebody check the lunar cycle?

In the meantime Krasniy, you have the coordinates for the centre of Nafticon and may proceed to fire when ready. :thumbsup
