To be serious: if there is any chance that I ever become Kaiser I will resign my citizenship in Batavia (I'm more integrated in Shireroth now, and it isn't as boring as Dutch micronations (even Batavia has lots of bureaucracy). Shireroth (atleast Kildare) has become the most important nation for me, and I would be more then happy to serve it as Kaiser.
Or at least, with creating a conflict to create more activity.

It's great how everyone wants to be Kaiser now that everything is working. I think our current Kaiser is great and I think it's a bit rude to start checking his pulse when he's doing a fine job right now.

Correction: after Ayreon abdicates. And I hope he will rule at least another month or two (I take this because it's about the average period a Kaiser rules).

I hope that Kaiser Ayreon has a very long and prosperous reign, just as I did when he was first confirmed as Kaiser. Just as we all should. Ambition is one thing, but there is but one Kaiser, and his alone it the choice as to who will be the next one, if there is to be a next one. Frankly I would like to have Ric as Kaiser for another year or so - other Kaisers recently have not been doing what Kaisers should do. They used the Kaiser's powers to try to implement their own ideas. In some cases, they succeeded; in other cases such as Hesam, they failed, but he still kept pressing his economy through as a "mere Count" and now it is a central part of Shirerithian lifestyle for many of us. I think the Kaiser should take a less first-hand approach - he can have ideas, yes, but mainly his role is to lead Shireroth and point out the ideas that are fail and veto them. Which Kaiser Ayreon has done very well so far.

So let's get off this topic and back on topic. I like this Decree, it's hardly that frivolous.

Gentlemen: I would have thought we had settled down from that late conflict. Let's just enjoy the reign and leadership of Kaiser Ayreon, and let him do the deciding about plans and successors. He is doing a fine job, and it's premature to look beyond his reign.
