Kildare is far too active and is making the rest of us look bad. Every time I log on I see the Kildare and its subforums stuffed with new-post mangos. There are only so many mangos I can eat at once before running to the toilet, so please be considerate and look into producing your mangos at a more sustainable and less fellow-duchy-humiliating level.

Item of interest: mangos beats mangoes convincingly on Googlefight, even though use of the former spelling sends jolts of nausea through me.

Back to the controversy over the spelling of mangos: This is a fruit which grows in abundance in the Central and South American Spanish-speaking countries. It is logical to spell the plural of mango in the Spanish manner, as most of us in California do already. Of course, the fact that our state's population happens to be over 38 % Hispanic has nothing at all to do with it......

I think of them as very Queensland fruits, personally ....

Andreas, having never visited down under, I was not even aware the mango grew there, though I should have assumed it could, since the climate seems hospitable for it. Thanks.
