I'm gonna be gone for a few days for my bday back home. I'm on officially LOA till I say otherwise.

Mike, as Assistant Arbiter, now has all the power and authority of my office till I declare my LOA over.

I think I'll extend my LOA till further notice... I seem to have a lot of anger all of a sudden. And I don't need it. So I think I'll take some more time. Maybe wait till the heavy handed uses of power have stopped...

As I see it.. I'm not needed at the moment. Mike can do my Arbiter duties, and the system is holding for the moment.

Jonas, you are a Duke, Prætor and member of the Landsraad. Don't underestimate your own influence.

Erik, I don't know why you are upset. Shireroth is more active than it ever has been before. more over, everything seems to be working fine!

Everything seems to be working, but Erik knows all and sees all!

I sometimes worry that Erik secretly plans to hand the Arbitrage completely to Mike at some point and then hightail it outta Shireroth for a very long time.

Dun do it plz, me no liek :(

Oroigawa, your personality cult of Erik aside, there is absolutely nothing going wrong. I mean there are a few arguments but Shireroth has always been a Whine & Cheese party. The Cabinet is functioning, The Landsraad is functioning, The effing economy is functioning (this has NEVER happened), we have high activity, the subdivisions are building culture and we're averaging a new citizen a week (I think). The only thing that has been neglected a tiny bit is the religious side of things, but the temples are still being posted in. We've gotten to a point of success where a citizen could bury themselves in a subdivision county and never concern themselves with national issues if they didn't want to. What I mean is that we've managed to have a bit of something for everyone's interests, and managed to find enough people to fill the empty spots.

As I said, yes, there are arguments. These things happen. They aren't the end of the world, no one is sulking away threatening to leave Shireroth, Everyone is getting along (basically). When there is a HUGE dispute, activity goes up and then crashes. We aren't in the midst of a civil war or a revolution and activity has been higher than ever before. I would think this is a good thing. If there is serious concern about the few problems we have, perhaps we should create a "Ministry of Problem Solving" and appoint someone rational to brainstorm ideas on how we can all get along? Might sound silly, but who knows it might work.

All that has been said is true, but there is a "tremor in the force", and the Gods are not all pleased.

Give him credit for backing off instead of drawing the Sword to himself and laying about with broad strokes, fixing things by sheer will.

The gods like to see men broken and separated, because, when united together, men are the only creatures to be able to touch them... and they're smiling on Kildare right now...

But the gods do not always present a united front. They have their own issues and their own strife.

Shireroth prospers outwardly, but.......yes, I feel uneasiness in the force........

*A short, green man steps in*

Hmm... Uneasiness in the force, I feel. Hmm... Avoid the dark side you must...

Erik - Have a great birthday and I'll look forward to your return.

Mike - With your new (albeit temporary) authority, can you give me a nice government job that pays a decent amount of money and doesn't require much in the way of actual, well, production?

Jesus, is that microphone on?!

Hello, Hello?

One day you're going to look back on this quote as immense foreshadowing ...

Well, two gods in particular ... :worship
