In what time does the game that I will create needs to be?

I think you'll be able to get a more fun storyline (and not have so many people try to correct you on historical facts) if you set it in the Jasonian era ... just because you can work in their fall and citizens streaming in, and nobody will be too fussed if you invent major quests out of nowhere because its all already happened. Whereas if you do it now I feel this horrible need to act out the quest, and any quest I act out I end up the hero, and we've established I'm too invincible to be the hero ... (though I could be a minor playable character ... bit like Gandalf)

No time like the present, that's my vote. Leave the Jasonian stuff to the experts, so that old geezers like me won't have to complain if you get things wrong

I'm assuming it'd be just after they've fallen (ie the time nobody really knows about) ...

The time Jasonia just felt could be interesting!
The Ocean Palace could still be available. The rise of the states as Blackrock.

I really don't know what to chose...
I don't know much about the situation of Kildare in Jasonian age.

How about in the present combating Jasonian time agents attempting to alter the timeline to restore Jasonia and overthrow Shireroth.

Now that's a fun idea.

That isn't a bad idea!

That could be fun ...

I vote future! Futures gives you unlimited creativity. What's there and what's available to you is completely open.

I also vote future, for a slightly different reason: it's fun to see how your actions might shape the future of your nation. Something that is whimsical now might become dogmatic tradition, or something certain could totally vanish. Lots of cool stuff that you could do...

Course, if you want this game to live on like CoD ... the problem with Future is then the future may well NOT reflect the changes you have and so the game becomes just a game and not reliving history ...

Who cares about reliving history? It's a bloody game!

You haven't played CoD, have you ...

CoD is a unique exception, and you're suggesting here that Jonas copy that idea. Let him make his own game.

So you have played it then?
I'm suggesting, in the fine tradition of Micronational Gaming, that Jonas create a quasi-historical game who's events can be viewed as ones that "actually happened". Because it is, undoubtedly, the best way of preserving micronational history ...

We have chosen to take the 'present' (if the game is finished it will not be the present anymore... yeah), in the period of the Kildarian Civil War.
Andreas and I have agreed that he would write the script (thanks again, Andreas!

) and I will do the graphics and creating of the game.
I'm very excited! The ideas we have now, are very good, and I hope it even gets better!
But, like every game that needs to get sold, we need a title. Something cool!

Time Distortion
The Attack of the Remnants
The Kildarian Civil War

Kildarian Time Wars ?
Got a promo, btw (this is what I think should be the very start Jonas, showing scenes of Kildare and you and me as it plays)
Kildare has stood peacefully for thousands of years. Once it was famous Shireroth over for its military might, but that title has long since passed. Kildare has recovered from the plague that ravaged it several centuries ago, but it has largely stagnated since that.
But with the announcement by Duke Jonas Windsor that the County of Gong Li shall be transferred to his Barony, and Baron Andreas the Wise opposing the move, the scene is set for the greatest struggle Kildare has seen in an age. Once again a military powerful Duke is on the throne - but at the same time, the Baron who opposes him is backed by a Navy returned fresh from international service, and is the most powerful mage in the land. What will happen? Only time will tell ...
But unbeknownst to the them all, in the middle of the Dukes own capital lies a young man who is destined to disrupt the counsels of the powerful and wise. A man heir to an ancient trust, and smiled upon by the gods. Well, one god, anyway ...
Kildare will never be the same again.

It's about Kildare, but it doesn't need it in the name. CoD doesn't have "Jasonia" in it... I'm partial to just plain "Time Wars".
