Due to the Economic Bill struggling to pass in the Lansraad, I have something to say,

"What is keeeping me in Shireroth?"

Well, I can clearly say, nothing.

First off, I have no say in government, that is, except for my barony with two active citizens. Secondly, I cant do anything with culture, it has all been done.

So really, something needs to change.

Petition your Duke to consider the interests of his people when voting.

If you find things so disparate, I tell you what. Take a "photo" of the Holy Lands as is. I.e., make a record of how everything is and the names of everything and which counties have which land and so on. Then do whatever you want. If anyone with sense gets in charge afterward, they can make a decree to revert to the "photo". But while you are Baron, thus it shall remain.

By the way, I'd hope the community and the people of Shireroth keep you here. Through thick and thing, no matter the circumstances, it's what keeps me here.

And Jess - I gave you a Diet to do exactly that. I WANT all my Barons to have a say. I WANT you all to tell me how you feel. But you ain't. So don't complain. Or else start doing so. That's what it's there for!

I'll have you know Jess I was about one post away from making you Steward when I was still Kaiser, but I was advised against it. Just FYI.

I just didn't see why you shouldn't. You certainly post more than anyone else. And if people claim you're being immature, well there is no better way to end it than by giving someone responsibility and treating them like an equal. Atleast that's the way I looked at it.

I know how you feel, but it doesn't get any better with more power. You can't do anything in Shireroth, period, even if you're Kaiser, because most new ideas are shot down. I suggest either finding some niche you enjoy developing (like me with Hyperborean culture or Erik with the legal system) and stick to it.

Or you could become a perennial malcontent. Well, it works for me!
