... I found
this.
Ah, the days when Hurmu was an Arminian barony within Shireroth. Quite remember them. Shame that the ez-hack removed the forums of Hurmu and Arminy.
And I still remember Bill's fantasy/joke of Oz and Ardy engaging in sex with Greg watching

I preferred the days when Hurmu was an independent nation

It can still be that, but the wise craziness of the early days cannot be restored. It belongs to the past, in our hearts. To reengage in that craziness would in a way be fabricated and false, giving Hurmu a sense of non-credibility.
Since those days of craziness, Hurmu has become different. First it got annexed by Menelmacar, and the craziness diminished little by little. Then after the fall of Menelmacar, Cranda took up Hurmu, and began de-crazifying the country. Cranda became Arminy became Shireroth became Arminy became Cranda became Babkhan-Stormark protectorate. And now, the Senate of Hurmu is going to resurrect itself, getting a forum of its own, trying to stand on its own feet, remembering the past and looking forward to the future.
Just like Sweden hardly is anything like the Sweden of a thousand years ago, Hurmu isn't what it used to be. One can just remember the old days with happy smiles, knowing that the old days form the foundation of that society. Hurmu is evolving, for better or for worse.... And the people that run it don't want to let go, so Hurmu will continue to live on.
It is quite funny that every constitution Hurmu has had beginning with the Menelmacar Constitutional Treaty, the last clause was "Hurmu will live on".
Maybe there's a sense of truth in it. We tried to kill it a couple of months ago, btu now iut got resurrected.

If people really want to keep something precious alive, they will refuse to let it die. That is why Shireroth is still here. We've had a lot of ups and downs, but we are still here after over 8 years. That is a credit to the tenacity (some may call it stubbornness) of those who really care. Long live Hormu--it makes me smile to think it's coming back. And long live Shireroth!!! May she continue to flourish.
