Shireroth prepares for two weddings, Oroigawa + Gilrean and Noemi and Lectriece. Congratulations to both couples. In sadder news, we say goodbye to Nate Shepard, who made the serious mistake of emigrating from Shireroth.

After a long debate, Brookshire has decided to engage in a land deal with Yardistan involving Nee and Musica as part of a long term expansion plan. In other Duchy news, Elwynn has recently stolen Straylight's mantle as "most incomprehensible Duchy."

A miniconvention at Fisherman's Wharf celebrated Icebreaker's visit to the San Francisco Bay Area. Twelve people attended the event held by Hypatia's Mom, including four from far-off Finland and several worthy ancients like ex-Duke Gryphon and ex-Kaiseress Hypatia. Welcome to the Shireroth Macronational Capital Territories, Finnish friends! We will sacrifice a hundred Swedes to celebrate your arrival!

Why don't we sacrifice something that will go B0O0/\/ instead? I don't think our Kaiser is really comfortable with this kind of talk.

Again, why not sacrifice some non-humans instead? I thought ritual human sacrifice went out with the Aztecs and Mayas.

Is this how far we've fallen?

* herds in fifty oxen *

The gods made oxen for sacrificing!

And they smell so good as a burnt offering. Barbeque, any one?
