The defection of the duke of my home province leaves me with little hope of securing my rights at this time. People are bored, and that is bad for any MN.

I am going to cease the post-by-post contest for the throne. I remain a citizen of Shireroth. I am by right Kaiser of Shireroth, as most of you know, and as a lot of you believe in your hearts.

I release Liam from my service as Steward, with thanks. My new Steward shall be a secret between myself and that person, to keep him/her from persecution by the (OOC-Seemingly a very nice guy) Anti-Kaiser, the Tool of Hasan the Faithless.

I shall not swear allegiance to the Tool of Hasan the Faithless, as again, I remain Kaiser.

Okay, Jake, I really did support you for a while there, before getting all wishy-washy. And your claim is pretty good. But Ayreon's now got a pretty significant majority. And you seem to be taking the Hasan thing too personally. And splitting the government by going off to Maraguo is a problem. And naming Jess as Steward shows either that you're desperate or losing your touch.

I think the best thing for you now would be to bow out. The more you become a divisive figure now, the harder you make it for anyone who wants to name you heir in the future.

Such an insult is not looked highly upon...

I don't have anything against Jess, but he's clearly not ready for the role of Kaiser, which he would get when Jake went on one of his business trips.

Liam was a good choice, but with Jess it seems too much like Jacobus just named the guy who supported him the loudest, whether or not that's true.

Besides which, this nation is not ready for a "Kaiser Penisberg I"

I know what you mean but I don't like the way everyone always talks to Jess.

I don't mean to be mean (like some people in MCS obviously are). I just don't want him as Kaiser, yet, because he reminds me too much of Bill ten years ago - and not enough like Bill two years ago, after Bill had become a little less impulsive and was an good friend and a good Kaiser.
