My reign will most likely not be as long as the late Kaiser's. I have a RL vacation, tickets paid for, starting in early September. My internet access will be spotty at best, and on the time scale of Shireroth, 'twould not be good for the nation or fair to a Steward to leave the nation in limbo for a matter of RL weeks.
(One of those going on the trip is not in good health. Should that person die or become gravely ill, I may cancel the trip and be around, but not as Kaiser.)
Now for those who say, "Why not wait until October?" well, that was the idea that created the settlement of the last succession dispute.
The good news is that my reign will be active, and that thodse who don't like the way I do it will not have TOO long to wait to see me go.
