I, Duke Benkern of Yardistan and Anarch of Yardistan, do declare the following:

First that the long absent but ever loved and oh so huggable trustee Gryphon Avocatio, Nick the Yardistani, shall be replaced as Count of Yardistan;
Second that the Duchy of Yardistan does recognise the fact that, unofficially or no, said trustee holds the position of Count Yardistan for life and also its duty never to act contrary this fact.

It seems that provision one is a bit obscure. Is Nick being restored to the title of Count of Yardistan, or is someone replacing him? It would seem the former, but is worded to imply the latter.

Uh... well... I literally meant "re-placed". Reassigned? Regranted the title? I don't know.

In any case the implication is almost accurate as Jacobus was guardian of the County.

Nick.. while awesome.. and indeed huggable... is not a citizen anymore.. that I know... But he does still drink to the Empire... I've seen it.

It was so enacted in this Duchy. He remains a citizen now until he says otherwise.
