[MoMA] Interception Request

To His Grace the Duke of Brookshire,

Your Grace / Honoured Comrade in the Proletarian Struggle (delete as appropriate),

The Albion Class Landing Platform RNS Holton has left port in the Duchy of Gascony as in en route to the south seas where its mission is specifically to disrupt the Shirerithian efforts to secure the territorial claims recently made by the honoured Lord Steward. This action, intended to deny Shireroth its historic rights, can only be of benefit to the Britannian enemy. The Kingdom of Bosworth, the parent nation of the Duchy of Gascony, is accordingly to be considered a hostile entity.

In light of this development, and mindful of the interests of the Imperial Republic, MoMA dutifully requests that the RNS Holton be sunk or taken as a prize by such forces as the Duchy of Brookshire might have at its disposal. A bounty of 20 erb will be paid by MoMA your Grace if this mission is successfully accomplished before the enemy vessel attains its destination.

Hence "before the enemy vessel attains its destination".

I shall dispatch the IRS Sparta and Brutus to intercept the ship. They are my fastest ships. Though only frigates they should be able to handle the situation. If not they can call in the IRS Thunder Child for help or the IRS Flying Monkey or IRS Iron Butterfly. both of the later being Destroyers.

What happens if I just turn it back?

If the threat turns back, then we blockade the land we've claimed and let no one in. This way we ensure that we've got the land.

Ok - if they resist, sink them. If they whinge, sink them again. If they carry on whinging haul the bastards out of the water and just as they think they are being rescued throw the wretches back in with weights attached to their legs. :evil

Yeah I saw that. The Phalanx gun is a gatling gun which automatically squirts of gun fire at incoming rounds and missiles. Yes they're effective but they won't be able to block out all the rounds fired targetted salvos from the main armament of your two frigates.

Hit the blighter a'midships.
