MCS claims

I've posted a claim to two small areas that were Shiritihian, and should be again. The balance of Mar Sara, and of Lothlaria that are presently unclaimed.

Jacobus ....
As is, this claim will never be accepted. You've got to:
a. Do it up properly, not just tell the council where you want (they're lazy)
b. New Brittania and Alexandria have claimed parts of those bits. You'll only get our full claim through if both of theirs are denied ...

What he said. (I forgot about the Britannian bit though :P)
When we actually work out what we want I can draw up a nicer looking claim map.

I have the feeling the red colour isn't the same as that on the MCS map

I can (almost) always draw up claims for you if you tell me before hand Jacobus, I quite enjoy that. Just not at the moment ... I've had church stuff taking up most of this weekend and all of next weekend, and have two uni assignments in the middle of that ... time is short, if you get what I mean ...

Steward Jacobus, Alexandria is a good friend to myself and Shireroth as a whole. As well, NB has supported many of our efforts in the past. It would be more appropriate to speak to these other claimants and give them the courtesy of negotiation before going directly to the MCS.

Fine, just wanting to keep the pot stirred up, and the MiniEx seemed busy.
I though I drew up the claims correctly this time, used the form and everything.

You drew up where you wanted, you didn't draw it exactly as it would be put on the map, that's the problem ...
However, Hasan, I'm not sure NB is quite that friendly with us ... Jeremy is, after all, the one who believes we need a reduction.

Doesn't NB have a large citizenry? Or is it just Jeremy? Even if we discount NB, there is the fact that I would like to maintain good relations with Alexandria. The Steward was right to pursue Shireroth's well being. In future, it would be best to consult with the ministers to ensure we maintain situational awareness.

I'm a Britannian (as we're now calling ourselves) and we have a good few citizens... 5 or so I think.
And Jeremy is deeply opposed to any Shirerithian expansion for some reason, though despite my urgings is unwilling to actually tell us on our forums (preferring to make snide comments in our claim thread).

Oh, sorry Hasan ... I didn't mean we shouldn't accomodate the claims of other nations. I merely said Jeremy wasn't friendly to us for some reason ...
EDIT: And he's finally posted a reasonable reason. I'll leave you and Jacobus to deal with this ...

dealt with. I suggested war as an amicable solution. So much easier than months of negotiation.

I've asked the MoMA to begin preparations for war. It's worth everyones effort to have a look and make comment if deemed appropriate. In addition, it seems Liam has been inactive a bit lately. I require someone to step in as Minister of the Exterior for the time being. I would like the acting Minister to petition our friends and remind them of their treaty obligations should war come. I will also award a bounty to the acting minister for successful completion. If someone would like to step in as acting minister (or if Liam responds, him) please just post your intent in this thread.

On the behalf of the Confederation of Gralus, I'm testing opinions, getting approval and all that. But tentatively speaking ... you have Gralan support for a war against New Brittania.
If Alexandria get involved, we'd prefer a peaceful settlement with them, but we can (most probably) support you against New Brittania.

Who am I calling up, your Niftiness? I'm not incredibly knowledgeable of our current defense pacts, and the treaties I've negotiated as of late are only standard (although I will definitely be calling upon them).

Look, I screwed up by not recognizing that Jeremy had posted a claim on that island first.
Why the PRH didn't he just post the link to his claim? We are not barbarians!

No worries Lord Steward, even if it was a mistake, we're solving it now.

Jacobus, there are some things you solve diplomatically, and there are some things you just say "Stuff diplomacy, I'm bored, let's show those b***ards who's boss". This is one of those times.
And Liam, Gralus is already called up if you were wondering. Try Alexandria (probably on the agreement we don't claim that bit of land that conflicts with theirs), but don't worry about Riponia, they're dead ...

Excellent. By the way Andreas, I realize how ridiculous the situation is, and that the war is being managed very badly, but we can deal with it. As well, Could everyone post in the Minitrade to claim their bounties for donating the service of their militias and work?

OK, the Kaiser's will be done, let's kick their **** all the way to Giess.
Hell, I used to be the first one to pull cruise missles out of my arse and start throwing them around.
Don't we have a claim for the Riponian coast, if they are indeed dead? Our perhaps we should 'encourage" a friendly state to annex or arise?

Most of the brown is at least our sphere of influence.

Some of it's Antica, some of it we can claim, yes ...
And Hasan, I know we could manage, but it would be much better to do it orbatted. It just takes a couple days to start again ...

In a couple of days we should be able to crush them...

Yes, well neither Shireroth, nor Bosworth nor NB have a real orbat. However Babkha does, and its rather impressive. I do agree we at least need a judge and I suggested such, but was ignored.

All we need is to get a subforum and start posting the charter, orbat thread etc. Treat the current thread as a pre-war backstory, and ignore all deaths in it in terms of our 25 000 point orbats.
And Babkha's supporting us then? I assumed they would, I just haven't seen them say as much ...

Due to the nature of their culture, most of their discussion is in the cabinet, (yes I still have access). It's a trait inherited from Attera actually.
