I have lost confidence in the leadership of Hasan I

and what comes next is problematic.

I could resign the Stewardship. If Hasan stays on as Kaiser, I would find it very difficult to serve him the way he wants to be served, and I am having a lot of trouble trusting him.

This probably trashes my problematical future Kaisership. But honor and security of the empire are paramount. I find that to be more important than my own ambition.

It is questionable whether I have the support to continue to challenge him directly. But I believe the current course must be challenged, and that Shireroth and Shirirthans deserve assurances of their freedom and culture.

We are not a democracy, but the person who believes he can rule without at least the acquiescence of the people is a fool.

I am prepared for victory, defeat, or exile.

(OOC- It's a game, what's going to be the most fun?)

I'd like to see Hasan assume the throne in Babkha with full rights, then abdicate... in favour of Ardy. :thumbsup

According to the buzz at MCS, Ardy rules Shireroth and Babkha. I thought it was a joke, but these rumor frequentl have a basis in fact.

Babkha is neat. But Babkhans do have a culture of intrigue and nibbling away at things.

ENOUGH!

In for a penny, in for a pound, as the saying goes.

Ok. Could those persons here indicated on the list please hold still while I glue you onto the pyramid of skulls. Not quite the effect I had intended but it is nonetheless striking.

Deconstructivist art does have its place although most of it isn't my cup of tea.

"Alright, everyone from the cabinet, we're having our meetings next to the pyramid of skulls from now on since Andreas is stuck to it."

Meet, enjoy the skulls, but your acts are still void....except maybe in Babkha. :document

My dear chap, while you have been spared the strangler repeating your lies will not make you any more correct in your treasonable assumptions. ;)

I'll have it noted I voted for a third party arbitration. If Babkha are indeed happy with the full extent of these plans, then I would suggest that we take this matter to the Arbiter. In a single thread, Hasan and Jacobus can discuss there their the views they're (woot, three there's in one sentence!) trying to put across, and the Arbiter and Prophet can decide.

And Jacobus, that's a stupid comment. This clearly is more a matter of Shireroth interfering in Babkha than Babkha interfering in Shireroth.

Jacobus rejected the legal position of Erik already.

But he did declare he'd like to be under a Mors or Raynor if you were no longer Kaiser ...
He may reject the Arbiter, but none can reject the Prophet as the supreme master in all things Kaiserial.

Technically as Arbiter I only just now got involved in this.
