Hasan and Jake are in informal communication, which should render our constitutional crisis moot in the very near future.
OOC: I have some serious RL stuff to do right away, but be asured that the crisis is ebbing.....

Ok folks.
There are proposals on the table that should give everyone what they want, which means everybody may be disappointed when the other side gets what it wants as well.
Say a small prayer to the diety of your choice that this be resolved soon.

Where (are said proposals).
Sakat will make sure this resolves in a historically suitable way ...

Here's the proposal.
- The illegal proclamations drafted by Jacobus be withdrawn.
- I speak with Babkha about a suitable compromise given the level of excitement the issue has caused in Shireroth.
- The Steward refrains from ever attempting to veto The Kaiser again.

Sorry, there are a lot of things missing. This is being less than forthright.
I did not attempt to negotiate this in the open forum. The Count of Hyperborea is so doing. This is not acceptable.
The Count of Hyperborea is loosing the confidence of the Steward, and a significant portion of the population. I wish to avoid civil war, but it's close.
Here are the points I offered. Some of these I feel are extremely important.
1-Decree 282 and 283 would be revoked.
2- That we would both express our regret at the miss communication
3- Amnesty for everyone
4- That everyone acknowledge the Babkhan job is symbolic only!
5- that if he took the Babkhan position, it would not change law.
6- that Shirithian law and culture shall prevail in Shireroth.
7 - that when the Kaiser was involved in Babkha, the Steward would rule as a caretaker in Shireroth
8 -(Most important) That if his job in Babkha entailed real power in Babkha, that he would abdicate one position or the other.
The arrogant reply addressed none of these.
See next post, folks.

That's a hell of a lot of demands for someone who started and failed at usurping my Thrown.

The armoured trucks of the Kaiser's Life-Guard Division shall be deployed promptly in defence of the ancient and noble rights of His Imperial Niftiness... as soon as HIN condescends to spell "throne" correctly.

You can abdicate of course, in the period you hold the position of Shah.
Then the problem is solved.

I'll spell Throne any way I want, I just choose to spell it your way as a sign of good faith :P

.
And you could have negotiated in good faith. You let power and the lust of it cloud your judgement.
You are deposed. We will see who the next Kaiser might be.
