Shireroth

Pusuiant to the annexation approved Jan. 23rd, Section 2-

2- That the Landsraad urges His Niftiness to empower representatives of Shireroth to negotiate internationally accepted boundaries of these territories.

I have this day posted our claim for the territory of the former Empire (now Barony) of Absentia on the MCS forums, thus:

Jacobus, no offence, but you totally missed the whole form filling out and map acknowledging other claims to the area bit ... so I'm doing one for you. You can't have quite all you want, as Amokolia, our allies (and soon to become Gralus as soon as thier expansion goes through) are claiming a part of it ... but I'll give you the rest that you wanted.

To be honest, I realized at the last minute that I'd got a mental block on how to post the map,(age creeping up, still don't remember) but I thought, onward through the fog!

I see that the Cognito & such of ancient days is spoken for. C'est la vie. I'd like physical locations for some of the other stuff in the annexation, but I haven't done the research yet.

Just in case you didn't see it at the MCS; I posted this old map I made from 2004 when Absentia was independent under Captain Titov. Remember Gennady's brother, Jacobus?

Jacobus, just take the map I posted, change the borders if you like, and add city names on, then reupload it and re-post it ...

.....I am not unaware of the sweep of history, and the migration of peoples. Peoples (who) .......... have established themselves, have built nations and distinct communites, and have earned the respect of more ancient peoples.

I do not intend for this opportunity to engender serious conflict. The scope and boundaries of these territories may certainly be subject to interpretation and negotiation. (Or perhaps traded for other areas.)

You wouldn't hear me complaining if Batavië becomes a duchy of Shireroth. I know it's my home country and it means a lot for me, but if it would die or becomes inactive I will try to join Shireroth (it would stay a dutch-speaking duchy, but I would have more time to translate our history).
