Hej på er!
I'm off to my parents today. Will spend the holidays there. Will be nice. We got some snow today. I just hope the trains will go on time and that I won't miss one...
So I'll see you on Easter Monday, that's when I'll be back. Happy holidays everyone!

Easter? What is this madness?

A number of us celebrate it in our real lives. Here I'm a B00/\/\IST, but in my real life I'm a Christian, and I celebrate our Lord's resurrection.

Easter? What is this madness?

That is the secular version of Easter. That is what the society sells for that holiday. Most of us prefer (while enjoying the candy anyway) remembering the real meaning of the day.

I recognize it as a religious holiday, and I'm Shinto Buddhist, although not really in the way Christians do...

Noboddy complains that they get a holiday.

Easter is the universal holiday of paying tribute to a gigantic rabbit that goes door to door of all the homes on earth demanding chocolaty satiation on pain of gnashing death to all those that oppose it. It's the reason no one works on easter.

Ah.. yes.. Zombie Jesus Day! We are combining it with St. Patrick's day this year I think...

My city has a Zombie March each year. Last year the Zombie Jesus and Zombie Muhammad held hands for the entire march. It was magically terrifying and a deep comment on life...I think.
Next year I think I'll go as a Zombie Pirate Ninja and achieve the critical mass of radical awesomeness.

Dead people... alive...

Don't mock Jesus, please...he died for your sins!

I didn't mock Jesus, the zombies did. And tell him thank for dying for the sins of the world but I don't want to be indebted to him for it, so if he doesn't mind, I'll attempt to live a decent life on my own thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that's your attitude. But God gave man individual freedom of choice. I pray that some day you will choose to join us.

Not wanting to be a christian isn't having a bad attitude, it's my life. No one knows whats better for me but me, and no one can speak on "Gods" behalf.

True enough. I'm not a fan of people who preach their religion... let them find it on their own, eh? Live and let live. If someone wants to worship someone else, it's their right. They aren't acknowledging the one true God, and that's their choice.
On a lighter note, I wish our town had a Zombie March...

Prodigy, A zombie attack all starts with you. Once you're staggering down main st wearing greenish grey makeup, eventually someone else will join you...or hit you with a shovel. But the point is, you can make it happen!

Sometimes you need someone to lead the way to God!

*sigh*
I'm not Christian. I was, now I'm not. I like Buddhism. It makes sense to me. If Christianity makes sense to you, then do that.
Now, I get enough of religion from a friend of mine. Can we please drop this discussion?

Any response from radical muslims for that?

Let's discuss Swedish Buddhism. I love the synthesis of things you'd never expect to see together. It gives me hope that the species is moving forward.

There was no response from Radical Muslims about it. There wasn't any real response to it, in fact I'm not entirely certain people got the reference.

This is why I made up my own religion... Cedrism, a combo of Norse and Buddhist ideas..

Yeah, religion should be personal, not pushed. I think I'm going to make a declaration that all religious issues will only be posted in the multi-temple.
